Bob McQueen

Bob McQueen

Bob McQueen is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and Master Addiction Counselor. He is a native of Jacksonville and completed his education at Jacksonville University and the University of North Florida.

Bob’s varied background in education, business and behavioral health allows him to relate to a very broad population. He has been a counselor for twenty-five years working in the Duval County Public Schools as a teacher and a counselor, Northeast Florida State Hospital, Baptist Health and in private practice for thirteen years.

Bob and his wife Carol have been married thirty-nine years and have three grown children. They attend Southpoint Community Church in Jacksonville.

Bob is a member of the American Association of Christian Counselors (AACC) and the National Association of Alcohol and Drug Abuse Counselors (NAADAC). He holds AACC’s highest designation of Board Certified Professional Christian Counselor and NAADAC’s highest designation of Master Addiction Counselor.

He has been trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, EMDR, Prepare/Enrich, Theophostic Prayer and in the marital therapy modalities of Gottman Therapy and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT).

He is a provider on most insurance plans and several Employee Assistance Programs.

Sandy Currie

Sandy A. Currie

Sandy A. Currie, LMHC, is a licensed Mental Health Counselor with over 15 years of experience working with adults, both individuals and couples. Sandy was educated at the University of North Florida with a Masters in Counselling.

Sandy has worked in a variety of mental health settings including private practice, community mental health, hospice programs, domestic violence shelters, and hospital psychiatric inpatient wards. Sandy specializes in couples counselling, primarily utilizing emotionally focused therapy which emphasizing re connecting of the emotional bond.

Sandy also specializes in self esteem issues; life transitions such as loss of job, grief, change in health, change in marital status, and others. Additionally, Sandy also works with issues such as depression, bipolar, and anxiety; as well as working with members of the military and their spouses.

Sandy served on activy duty in the U.S. Navy and her husband is retired U.S. Navy. Sandy is a member of the American Association of Christian Counselors. Sandy is married with two adult children and three grand children.

Michael Wade

Michael Wade

Michael Wade, LMHC is a Mental Health Counselor licensed by the State of Florida. He received his Bachelors of Science from Southwestern Assemblies of God University and earned his Master of Arts degree from Liberty University.

Michael has extensive experience with children and adolescents, as well as working with their families. Michael also has experience working with adults, couples, and family issues. Some of the issues that Michael works with is:

Depression, Anxiety, ADHD, Parenting Skills, Couples, Marital Issues, Job Related Issues and Grief.

Michael also has experience working with trauma victims and is trained in TF­CBT.

Michael works with evidence­based counseling techniques which include CBT, Client­Centered, and Behavioral therapy. It is Michael’s philosophy that anyone who seeks therapy should have it available to them, therefore he works on a sliding scale for anyone who does not have insurance. Michael also accepts certain insurances and several forms of medicaid.

Michael is married to his wife of 14 years and have two young daughters.
